方懷防，男，博士，副教授。1998年畢業于武漢化工學院化工系。2002年考入武漢大學化學與分子科學學院攻讀博士學位，期間主要從事樣品前處理技術和毛細管電泳在線富集方法的研究。2007年獲得博士學位，隨后在美國弗吉尼亞大學化學系進行博士后研究，主要從事微透析-毛細管電泳-激光誘導熒光和毛細管電泳-快速循環伏安聯用檢測生物體大腦內神經遞質含量，檢測藥物、環境和基因變異對生物體大腦內神經遞質的影響。現主要采用毛細管電泳-快速循環伏安檢測開展藥物、環境對神經系統發育影響和神經系統病變機理的研究。在《Analytical chemistry》、《Electrophoresis》、《Tanlanta》、《高等學校化學學報》等雜志發表科研論文9篇(其中第一作者SCI論文8篇)。
